These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website operated by Canandaigua Computer Service (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Terms governing the provision of repair or IT services are set forth separately in our Service Terms. By using this website, contacting us, or requesting services, you agree to the applicable terms.
Services
Canandaigua Computer Service provides computer repair, IT support, and consulting services for home users and small businesses. Services may be provided onsite, through pickup and drop-off, or remotely, depending on the nature of the work.
All services are provided on a best-effort basis and may vary depending on hardware condition, software configuration, and other factors beyond our control.
Estimates and Approval
Whenever possible, we provide estimates before beginning work. Estimates are not guarantees and may change if additional issues are discovered during service. No additional work will be performed without customer approval.
Data Responsibility
While we take reasonable care when handling devices and data, customers are responsible for ensuring important data is backed up before service begins. We are not responsible for data loss caused by pre-existing conditions, hardware failure, or software corruption.
Data recovery outcomes depend on the specific circumstances and cannot be guaranteed.
Hardware and Parts
Any hardware or replacement parts provided may be subject to manufacturer warranties. We are not responsible for failures caused by defective parts supplied by third parties.
Customer-supplied hardware or software is serviced at the customer’s own risk.
Access and Security
To perform requested services, customers may need to provide access credentials to their devices. Any credentials shared are used solely for service purposes and are not retained after work is completed.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canandaigua Computer Service shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss, business interruption, or loss of profits resulting from the use of this website or our services.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service provided, except as required by law.
